Commercial
Rexel (Watford Branch) – Trade Counter Maintenance & Making Good
Location: Rexel (Watford Branch)

Overview
A targeted commercial maintenance project for the Rexel branch in Watford. The client required the removal of old, heavy adhesive signage directly behind their active trade counter. The challenge of this project was restoring the severely damaged plasterboard and blending the new paint flawlessly into the existing wall, all while protecting the branch's IT equipment directly below.
Scope
Localized surface restoration, workspace protection, and seamless color-matched repainting.
Highlights
Workspace Protection
Implemented strict site masking protocols, fully sheeting and protecting the active computer terminals, phones, and card machines immediately below the work area to prevent any dust or paint contamination.
Intensive Surface Preparation
Carefully scraped back the old adhesive and torn plasterboard paper. Applied commercial-grade fillers and sanded the surface perfectly flat to ensure no "ghosting" of the old lettering would be visible.
Seamless Blending
Spot-primed the raw filler to seal the repairs, followed by applying a perfectly color-matched topcoat. The final result is a completely seamless pillar that looks as good as new.
